Peace, Love & Joy brings three traditional Indian evening melodies to life with sitar and tabla, opening a door to the magic and deep spirituality of India. Ideal for relaxation, meditation, yoga, ayurveda and tantra - but also for demanding artistic listening pleasure!

Peace: the meditative and dignified raga Bageshri. Love: the romantic raga Kirwani. Joy: the innocent light-hearted raga Bhoopali.

Yogendra was born in Northern Germany in 1965. He accidentally came across a sitar as a teenager and has been studying North Indian classical music ever since. He has been learning with renowned masters like Ali Akbar Khan and Partha Chatterjee. He performs in the style of the Maihar-Senia-tradition. Outside the world of traditional Ragas, Yogendra is a creative sitar player in dance and theatre productions, recordings, satsangs and meditative gatherings. His most notable project is the award-winning world music trio Indigo Masala.

Ashis Paul was born in Calcutta in 1974. He started learning music from his father when he was five. Later on he took tabla lessons from Samir Chatterjee, Debnath Chakraborty, and finally from Anindo Chatterjee, master of the Farukhabad-tradition of tabla. Ashis Paul is renowned for his sensitive and musical accompaniment. He has performed worldwide with a number of leading classical Indian musicians, e.g. Buddhadev Dasgupta, Shujaat Khan, Partha Chatterjee, Partho Sarathy, Kala Ramnath, Debashis Bhattacharya and Purbayan Chatterjee.
