The Ragamala is a traditional composition based on raga Rageshri and passing through 12 different ragas. The lyrics name four ragas in sthayi and eight other ragas in the antara.

Veena Sahasrabuddhe (1948) is a leading vocalist and composer of Hindustani classical music. Her singing style has its roots in Gwalior gharana, but it also borrows from Jaipur and Kirana gharanas. Veena is known as a singer of khyal and bhajan. She studied with Balwantrai Bhatt, Vasant Thakar, and Gajananrao Joshi.
