Bansuri Standard
VEGANOur Standard Bansuris have a beautiful tone and a bamboo of medium quality. They are a good choice for people who want to give it a first try as well as for amateur musicians.
Standard Bansuris are often tuned slightly higher or lower than standard Western pitch and they are sometimes slightly out of tune in the second and third octave. Therefore they might not sound too well together with instruments with fixed tuning (e.g. piano or harmonium).
The following tuning / sizes are available:

Corpus made from finest bamboo harvested at the foothills of the Himalayas, transparent finish, thorough firm stitched binding to prevent ripping and for stabilization at least at five different points, mouth hole, six finger holes for right handed musicians, seventh hole for tuning and special grips, if required with attached lip plate to aid blowing, bansuris with eight finger holes on request.
Our standard bansuris are supplied by our partners Paloma from Mumbai or Monoj Kumar Sardar from Calcutta. Our suppliers buy them from regional craftsmen there.
